I'm Leigh-Anne Redfern and I joined the NCSTEP team in the Spring of ’22. I'm so glad to be a part of student’s educational journeys! I will be working on a variety of projects for NCSTEP and the counselors at each school and am the primary counselor at Canton Central. After graduating from Colgate University (Mathematics and Education majors), I worked in college admissions, career services, and financial aid at Gettysburg College for nearly twenty years. During that time, I completed my MS in Educational Administration from McDaniel College (MD). 

Since relocating to the North Country in 2018, I worked with SUNY Potsdam’s Student Success Center as well as a remote undergraduate admissions reader for New York University. I have greatly enjoyed my time in the North Country- even building a backyard hockey rink to keep my three kids (who had never skated!) busy during the 20-21 covid/remote school year.
