INSTITUTE INFORMATION
PSR. Engineering College is an Autonomous Institution established by P.S.Ramasamy Telugu Minority Educational and Charitable Trust in the year 1999 in the state of Tamilnadu. The college is sprawled over an area of 27.9 acres of land south of Sivakasi on Sivakasi-Sankarankoil Highway which are in the tri junction of the three districts-namely Virudhunagar. Tirunelveli and Thoothukudi. The College is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and received the status of Autonomous in the Academic year 2012-13. National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has accredited three UG programmes-CSE, ECE & EEE under Tier-I Category. The College is accredited by NAAC in the year 2014. The college offers academic programs with innovative curriculum, advanced research and societal engagement through outreach activities. The college has 7 departments and offers 12 academic programmes both at UG and PG level including a MBA programme.
ABOUT THE TRUST
The college is run by P.S.Ramasamy Telugu Minority Educational and Charitable Trust, Sivakasi and administered by Thiru R.Solaisamy Correspondent & Managing Trustee. Their valuable service in providing Quality technical education to the backward rural area is proving the social cause of running this institution. The more number of girls enrollment in PSR group of Institution for various technical programmes ensure disciplined, safe, and conducive environment in the campus. To offer more opportunities to the upliftment of the women education, P.S.R.Rengasamy College of Engineering for Women was started in the year 2008.
DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING
The Department is functioning in this college since its inception. There has been consistent development in all spheres including infrastructure, staff and student strength, well-equipped laboratories and smart classrooms. All the faculty members ensure a standard of education to the students. The benchmark features have helped our department to acquire National Board of Accreditation, since 2009 onwards. The department has IEEE, IETE and ISTE chapters. The department also possesses a Center of Excellence on Robotics and IoT Lab in association with Texas Instruments, Bangalore.

OBJECTIVE
This conference will provide a platform for research scholars, faculty members and industrial persons to share their new technological ideas on a common forum. This conference aims to enhance the awareness benefits of power and energy needs and economic benefits of power and energy conservation and utilization.
