Welcome Message
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the National Conference on Mathematical Sciences: Trends and Perspectives - 2026. This conference is conceived as a platform to bring together researchers, academicians, and students from diverse areas of mathematical sciences to exchange ideas, present recent developments, and foster meaningful academic interactions. Mathematics continues to play a central role in advancing science and technology, and gatherings such as this provide an opportunity to reflect on its evolving scope and interdisciplinary relevance. The objective of NCMS-TP 2026 is to encourage dialogue across both pure and applied domains of mathematics, promoting discussions that bridge theoretical foundations with real-world applications. We hope that the conference will stimulate insightful discussions, inspire new research directions, and strengthen collaborative networks among participants.
We are honoured to host distinguished speakers and contributors whose work continues to enrich the field. We also extend our sincere appreciation to all participants for being a part of this academic endeavour.
We wish you a productive and engaging conference.

About the Conference
The Department of Mathematics, B. B. Kishan College, is delighted to announce the National Conference on Mathematical Sciences: Trends and Perspectives (NCMS–TP 2026), to be held in September, 2026. The conference aims to bring together researchers, academicians, scholars, and students to exchange ideas, discuss recent advances, and explore emerging directions in the mathematical sciences.
The event is conceived with a broad and inclusive vision of mathematics, encompassing core theoretical disciplines, applied and computational mathematics, and interdisciplinary research areas. NCMS–TP 2026 will provide a vibrant academic platform for participants to present their research findings, engage in meaningful discussions, foster collaborations, and strengthen academic networks. The conference also seeks to inspire young researchers and students by exposing them to contemporary research trends, innovative methodologies, and diverse perspectives in mathematical sciences, thereby promoting intellectual growth and scientific interaction.
About the College
Bagadhar Brahma Kishan College was established on 16th August 1978 at Jalahghat in the then undivided Kamrup district, presently located in Baksa district under the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Assam. Initially founded as Kishan College, the institution was later renamed in honour of Late Bagadhar Brahma, a humble farmer and committed social worker, as a tribute to his invaluable contribution to society and the community’s deep respect for him.
Since its establishment, the college has remained committed to the noble objective of making higher education accessible to the youth of the region. Over the decades, it has steadily evolved into an important center of learning, shaping the academic and personal growth of countless students and contributing significantly to the educational development of the area. While cherishing its rich legacy and long-standing traditions, the college continues to progress with changing times, striving to provide quality education within a supportive, inclusive, and intellectually enriching environment.
About the Department
The Department of Mathematics at Bagadhar Brahma Kishan College was established in 2023 with the introduction of the Science stream, marking a significant and promising milestone in the academic development of the institution. The department currently offers the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) under Bodoland University. The department is dedicated to fostering a strong conceptual understanding of mathematics, encouraging students to approach problems systematically with confidence, clarity, and logical reasoning. Beyond imparting mathematical knowledge, the faculty members strive to cultivate analytical thinking and problem-solving skills that students can apply in both academic pursuits and everyday life.
Committed to academic excellence and holistic development, the department seeks to nurture discipline, curiosity, and a genuine passion for learning among students. Through a supportive and intellectually engaging environment, the department aspires to shape responsible and independent individuals capable of applying mathematical reasoning to real-world challenges and contributing meaningfully to society.
