Welcome Message
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the National Conference on Mathematical Sciences: Trends and Perspectives - 2026. This conference is conceived as a platform to bring together researchers, academicians, and students from diverse areas of mathematical sciences to exchange ideas, present recent developments, and foster meaningful academic interactions. Mathematics continues to play a central role in advancing science and technology, and gatherings such as this provide an opportunity to reflect on its evolving scope and interdisciplinary relevance. The objective of NCMS-TP 2026 is to encourage dialogue across both pure and applied domains of mathematics, promoting discussions that bridge theoretical foundations with real-world applications. We hope that the conference will stimulate insightful discussions, inspire new research directions, and strengthen collaborative networks among participants.
We are honoured to host distinguished speakers and contributors whose work continues to enrich the field. We also extend our sincere appreciation to all participants for being a part of this academic endeavour.
We wish you a productive and engaging conference.

About the Conference
The Department of Mathematics, B. B. Kishan College, is delighted to announce the National Conference on Mathematical Sciences: Trends and Perspectives (NCMS-TP 2026), to be held in the first week of September 2026. The conference aims to bring together researchers, academicians, and students to share ideas, discuss recent developments, and explore new directions in mathematical sciences.
The event is designed around a broad and inclusive perspective of mathematics—ranging from core theoretical areas to applied and computational approaches, as well as interdisciplinary research. NCMS-TP 2026 will provide a friendly and engaging platform for participants to present their work, exchange ideas, and build academic connections. It also aims to inspire young researchers by exposing them to current research trends and encouraging meaningful discussions.
About the College
Bagadhar Brahma Kishan College, Jalah, was established on 16th August 1978 at Jalahghat in the then greater Kamrup district, now part of Baksa district under BTR, Assam. Initially known as Kishan College, it was later renamed in honour of late Bagadhar Brahma, a humble farmer and dedicated social worker, reflecting the community’s respect and gratitude.
Since its inception, the college has been driven by a simple yet meaningful purpose—to make higher education accessible to the youth of the region. Over the years, it has grown steadily, shaping the lives of many students and contributing to the educational landscape of the area. While taking pride in its journey and legacy, the college continues to move forward, adapting to changing times and striving to provide quality education in a supportive and inclusive environment.
About the Department
The Department of Mathematics at B. B. Kishan College was established in 2023 with the introduction of the Science stream, marking a new and promising phase in the college’s academic journey. The department offers the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) under Bodoland University and also offers the Two-Year Higher Secondary (HS) Course in Science under the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB).
At its core, the faculty members place strong emphasis on building a solid conceptual foundation, encouraging students to approach problems step by step with confidence and clarity. The aim is not only to teach mathematics as a subject, but also to nurture a way of thinking that students can carry into all aspects of their lives. The department is equally committed to fostering discipline, curiosity, and a genuine interest in learning. Ultimately, the department aspires to shape individuals who can think independently, act responsibly, and apply mathematical reasoning to real-world situations.
