From the Volunteer & Intern Services Team:

Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences! Volunteers assist in virtually every area necessary to the functioning of the Museum and are essential to our success. Whether you prefer to work behind the scenes or interpret natural science topics for visitors, you’ll be helping the Museum reach its full potential as an educational resource for our state.

We are currently in the process of reopening spaces and welcoming back our volunteers who have been waiting to return since the beginning of the pandemic. Once we have welcomed back all interested volunteers and spaces adjust to regular opening hours, we will resume volunteer recruitment. We hope to resume recruitment very soon! We will post updates about volunteer recruitment on this page.
