NUSU Give-it-a-Go Events Organised
Turkish Society Give-It-A-Go etkinliklerinin tanıtımı NUSU Give it a Go web sayfalarında (birçok kez), Facebook (6 sefer) ve Instagram hesaplarında (3 kez) ve story’lerinde yerini aldığı gibi ayrıca üniversitenin “experience-Newcastle blog” sayfasında (experience.ncl.ac.uk) Mayıs (Türkiye webinarı ve Türkçe Dil Kursu) ve Haziran (Tezhib ve Hat workshopları) aylarına dair reklamı yapılan society aktiviteleri arasında da paylaşılmıştır.
Diğer tüm society’lere kıyasla daha interaktif ve verimli geçirdiğimiz Mayıs-2021’de gerçekleştirilen bu aktivitelerimizi taçlandırmak adına ‘Society of Month’ için NUSU’ya başvuruda bulunduk.
Ayrıca, mayıs ayında düzenlenen ‘2021 SOCIETY AWARDS’ kapsamında ‘Most Improved Society’ dal’ında aday listesine girmeyi başararak öğrenci birliğimizi ilk kez bu platformda temsil etmek onurunu yaşadık.
Cultural Workshops
We the Members of the Newcastle University /Turkish Society want to represent and further greater sense of our culture among all students at Newcastle University.
1st : To represent and give information about rich cultural legacy of Turkey.
2nd; We want to share our passion about our traditional Turkish Arts with organising two workshops on Tezhib and Calligraphy.

Turkish Language Course; 5 online sessions of “Turkish Language Course” will teach you the fundamentals of Turkish Language and enable you to sufficiently express yourself if you ever take a trip to Turkey. This is a casual and warm virtual language class where you will learn practical Turkish phrases with wonderful instructors Didem Turgut Turkcakal and Umit Turkcakal.
