I place great importance on a solid foundation in mathematics. Students who wish to conduct research in my team must either have a strong mathematical background or at least be open to learning mathematics. Students interested in joining my team should have completed the following courses during their undergraduate studies:

Calculus, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Advanced Calculus (Optional), Real Analysis (Optional).

Note: Anyone who wishes to join my team must submit their university transcripts to me for review (via email). Each graduate student will be personally supervised by me; thus, in general I prefer to supervise no more than three graduate students per year.

My suggestion: Studying involves acquiring knowledge that has already been structured by predecessors, whereas research entails exploring the unknown in an environment of darkness and uncertainty. Before joining my research team, please make sure that you fully understand the statement above.
