Technical Assistance (TA)
Technical Assistance (TA) assists eligible applicants to apply for and use EPA grant funding. Through EPA's Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights (OEJECR), eligible entities can receive TA in all stages of the Community Change Grants. This includes application support, capacity building, project planning, and more.
The DSCEJ strives to: INCREASE CAPACITY of groups and networks ready to access government funding through regional/local hub leaders or community navigators EXPAND TRAINING & EDUCATION to prepare communities and groups to engage in local decision making or eventually access government funds themselves RAPID INVESTMENTS to networks and organizations to increase capacity, training & education so they may engage as equal partners. CREATE PIPELINE of increased community engagement and workforce participation
