COURSE OBJECTIVES
This module is designed to help health center staff understand the impact of negative attitudes about aging on healthcare delivery and learn effective strategies to address misconceptions in their practice.
After completing this module, participants should be able to:
Identify common misconceptions of aging and the provision of care for older adults
Understand the relationship between aging misconceptions and health outcomes
Develop practical approaches for aligning services with age-friendly principles
This module has three sections including: Section 1: Recognizing Common Misconceptions About Aging, Section 2: How Aging Attitudes Impact Health Outcomes, and Section 3: Addressing Aging Misconceptions in Practice.
