COURSE OBJECTIVES
This module is designed to strengthen the capacity of health centers to engage older adult patients in conversations related to starting or improving regular exercise habits.
After completing this module, participants should be able to:
Describe the qualities and benefits of physical activity for older adults.
Determine considerations and education needs for characteristics specific to the individual older adult.
Understand modifications to physical activity goals for the unique needs and preferences for older adults.
Identify the steps of starting a home physical activity program.
This module includes: an introductory section, the main presentation, and a conclusion section.
