As a collective, Gamma Theta Chapter of NC DKG, we are committed not only to empowering women educators but also to making a positive impact in our local community. At the heart of our service is a deep partnership with Note in the Pocket, an organization that holds special significance for our chapter. Note in the Pocket strives to clothe impoverished students with dignity and love, ensuring that children in need have access to appropriate clothing for school and everyday life.

Our chapter’s Signature Project is to support this incredible organization in any way we can. Members of the Gamma Theta Chapter eagerly dedicate their time and resources by sorting, collecting, and donating clothing for these students and their families. Additionally, we actively participate in their annual spring fundraiser, the Socks & Undies Rundie, an event that raises awareness and critical funds to support the cause.

This project is more than just an act of charity for us—it's a way to live out our values of service, compassion, and community, while addressing a tangible need. Through our efforts, we help ensure that children in our community can focus on their education with confidence and dignity. We are proud to be part of this meaningful work and are committed to continuing our partnership with Note in the Pocket for years to come.
