The Seven Purposes
To unite women educators of the world in genuine fellowship;
To honor women who have given or who evidence a potential for distinctive service in any field of education;
To advance the professional interest and position of women in education;
To initiate, endorse, and support desirable legislation or other suitable endeavors in the interests of education and of women educators;
To endow awards to aid members in pursuing professional and personal development and to provide grants to non-member educators;
To stimulate the professional and personal development of members and to encourage their participation in relevant programs of action;
To inform the members of current economic, social, political, and educational issues so that they may participate effectively to support a sustainable world society.
Gamma Kappa Chapter Organized April 7, 1977
The mission of the Gamma Kappa chapter is to provide intellectual stimulation and personal support for its members and promote the best practices in education.
International Society Founded May 11, 1929
The mission of Delta Kappa Gamma is to promote professional and personal growth ofΒ
women educators and excellence in education.
