Alpha Gamma Chapter, located in Avery & Watauga counties in Region IX, is affiliated with The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International and the North Carolina DKG State Organization. We are a group of women educators, committed to the advancement and the endorsement of women in education. We currently have 60 active members, living or working within Avery or Watauga County, NC. We represent the spectrum of women in education - including current classroom teachers, retired educators, school administrators, and those in higher education.
