About the Institute

National Institute of Technology Puducherry (NITPY), nestled in the scenes of Karaikal, a coastal town in the basin of river Kaveri. It is one among the ten new NITs started by MHRD, Govt. of India in the year 2010.

About the Department

The Department of Mathematics is one of the pioneering departments of the institution and is equipped with strongly motivated and dedicated faculty members. It was established in 2010 and has always contributed to the vision of the institute in striving for excellence in teaching and research activities. The department offers Ph.D. programmes in various fields of Mathematics and interdisciplinary areas.
