「One-Third Video Speak Out Challenge」英語創意短影音競賽辦法
壹、活動宗旨
國立政治大學英語教學資源中心(簡稱本中心)為增進學生對校園英語學習資源的了解,並提供學生展示創意的機會,以「One-Third Video Speak Out Challenge」為主題,邀請學生創作3至5分鐘的短影音。期許透過本次競賽,鼓勵學生嘗試影音科技等多樣化的英語學習策略,以激發學習英語的熱情、提升英語口說能力,豐富校園學術氣氛。
貳、參賽資格
一、大一學士班新生組:國立政治大學之已註冊在學大一學生(不含國際生)均可報名參加。每一團隊由3至4名大一學生組成,每人限參加一隊。
二、大二以上學士班及研究生組:國立政治大學之已註冊在學大二以上學生及研究生(不含國際生)均可報名參加。每一團隊由3至4名大二以上學生及研究生組成,每人限參加一隊。
三、國際組:國立政治大學之已註冊在學國際生均可報名參加。每一團隊由3至4名國際生組成,每人限參加一隊。
參、作品格式
一、標題自訂
二、影片須全程使用英文,時長為3至5分鐘,且至少三分之一的時長須由參賽者進行
英語口語表達,並配有相應字幕(每位團隊成員均發言尤佳)。
三、影片內容須緊扣下列其中一項主軸:
(一)展示英語學習的創意方法或技巧。
(二)介紹或分享使用國立政治大學英語學習資源的經驗及成果。
四、影片畫面為橫式,影音格式為MP4,影片解析度至少為1280*720。
五、影片拍攝方式、形式不拘,不限任何拍攝手法,可以平板電腦、手機、相機、攝
影機等器材等進行,然需符合徵件規格。
肆、評分標準
一、40% 內容架構(與競賽主題之扣合程度、劇情完整性及創意性)
二、30% 語言應用(英語表達技巧)
三、30% 技術質量(拍攝手法、剪輯技巧、音效配樂)
伍、競賽時程
一、作品收件日程為即日起至民國 113 年 11 月 11日(星期一)下午 5 點整截止,請留意參賽時限,逾時不候。
二、得獎作品將於民國 113年 12 月 11 日(星期三)於本中心官網及Facebook粉絲專頁同時公告。
陸、報名及作品繳交方式
一、本競賽僅接受網路報名,請利用大會報名表單Google Form於競賽徵稿期間進行投稿,並留意參賽時限。投稿網址:https://forms.gle/TtZWP1dSKzsmT6x17
二、報名時請同時填妥個人資料及著作財產權授權同意書(附件),並將授權書以.pdf檔案格式於填寫報名表時一併上傳,並命名檔名為「OOO_系級_作品授權書」。
柒、獎勵辦法
一、大一學士班新生組:金獎一組獎助金 10,000 元、銀獎一組獎助金 8,000 元、銅獎一組獎助金 6,000 元。
二、大二以上學士班及研究生組:金獎一組獎助金 8,000 元、銀獎一組獎助金 6,000 元、銅獎一組獎助金 4,000 元。
三、國際組:金獎一組獎助金 8,000 元、銀獎一組獎助金 6,000 元、銅獎一組獎助金
4,000 元。
四、優秀得獎作品將由本中心發表於Facebook粉絲專頁。
五、凡參加本活動之參賽者皆可獲得本中心提供之參賽紀念獎品。獎品提供時間會另行公布。
捌、注意事項
一、參賽作品內容須為參賽者原創構思,取材(含圖片、影像、音樂等)也須符合著作權規範,且未曾參加過任何公開比賽或展出。若作品中使用了AI生成工具,請於影片結尾處明確註明所使用的工具清單。若經查證違反上述規定者,將取消參賽資格,已得獎者將取消得獎資格,並追回獎金。
二、凡有抄襲或盜用他人作品參加比賽,經檢舉查證屬實者,除取消得獎資格、追回獎金外,參賽者需自行負責違反著作權之法律責任,概與本中心無關。
三、參賽作品一經投稿恕不退件,請自行保留底稿,且投稿作品一經送出不予撤回。
四、參賽作品於投稿時均須檢附「著作財產權授權同意書」(附件),投稿一經送出即視同承認競賽辦法之各項規定,且同意無條件授權主辦單位將作品公開發表及使用,主辦單位有攝影、宣傳、刊載於網頁、展覽等權利,作者不得異議。
五、主辦單位於該作品著作財產權存續期間,享有在任何地點、時間以任何方式利用或再授權他人利用該著作之權利,且不需因此支付任何費用。
六、主辦單位保有修改、變更或暫停本活動之權利,本實施辦法如有未盡事宜,得經主辦單位決議修改公布之。

“One-Third Video Speak Out Challenge” English Creative Short Video Competition Guidelines
I. Purpose
The EMI Resource Center of National Chengchi University (referred to as the Center) aims to promote English learning resources on campus and provide a platform for students to showcase their creativity. Through the “One-Third Video Speak Out Challenge,” we invite students to create short videos (3 to 5 minutes) that demonstrate diverse English learning strategies such as the use of video technology. We encourage all students to ignite their passion for learning English and enhance their speaking skills, enriching the academic atmosphere on NCCU campus.
II. Eligibility Requirements
i. Freshman Group: All undergraduate first-year students enrolled at National Chengchi University (excluding international students) are eligible to participate. Each team must consist of 3 to 4 first-year students, and each participant can only join one team.
ii. Sophomore and Above Group: All sophomore and above students, as well as graduate students enrolled at National Chengchi University (excluding international students), are eligible to participate. Each team must consist of 3 to 4 students from the sophomore level or above, or graduate students, and each participant can only join one team.
iii. International Group: All international students enrolled at National Chengchi University are eligible to participate. Each team must consist of 3 to 4 international students, and each participant can only join one team.
III. Format of Entries
i. Title: Self-determined
ii. The entire video must be in English, with a duration of 3 to 5 minutes. At least one-third of the video must feature the participants speaking in English, with corresponding subtitles (it is even better if every team member speaks).
iii. The video must focus on either of the following themes:
(1) Showcase creative methods or techniques for learning English.
(2) Introduce or share experiences or outcomes from using English learning resources at National Chengchi University.
iv. The video must be in landscape orientation, with MP4 format and a resolution of at least 1280*720.
v. The filming method and style are flexible, and any filming technique is acceptable. The video may be shot using tablets, smartphones, cameras, or other equipment, as long as it meets the submission specifications.
VI. Scoring Criteria
i. Content Structure 40% (relevance to the competition theme, completeness of the storyline, and creativity)
ii. Language Use 30% (English expression skills)
iii. Technical Quality 30% (filming techniques, editing skills, sound effects and music)
V. Competition Schedule
i. The submission period for entries is from now until 5:00 PM on November 11, 2024 (Monday). Please take note of the deadline, and no submissions will be accepted after the specified time.
ii. Winning entries will be announced simultaneously on the official website and our Facebook fan page on December 11, 2024 (Wednesday).
VI. Registration and Submission Procedures
i. This competition only accepts online registration. Please use the official registration Google Form to submit your entry during the submission period. Please be aware of the submission deadline. ii. Be sure to fill in your personal information and complete the “Copyright License Agreement” (See Attachment). Upload the file in PDF format and name the file “OOO_Department&Grade_Copyright License Agreement” when registering.
VII. Prizes and Rewards
i. Freshmen Group: one Gold award of NT$10,000; one Silver award of NT$8,000; one Bronze award of NT$6,000.
ii. Sophomore and Above Group: one Gold award of NT$8,000; one Silver award of NT$6,000; one Bronze award of NT$4,000.
iii. International Students Group: one Gold award of NT$8,000; one Silver award of NT$6,000; one Bronze award of NT$4,000.
iv. Award-winning works will be posted by the EMI Resource Center featured on our Facebook fan page.
v. Those who take part in this competition will receive a special gift from the EMI Resource Center. Participants will be notified by emails.
VIII. Additional Notes
i. Entries must be personally created and original, and the materials used (including images, videos, music, etc.) must also comply with copyright regulations and must not have been submitted to any public competition or exhibition. If AI-generated tools are used in the work, a list of the AI tools used must be provided at the end of the video. Violation of these rules will result in disqualification, and the winners will have their titles revoked, and prize money will be reclaimed.
ii. Any plagiarism or unauthorized use of others’ works for the competition, if reported and verified, will result in disqualification and the retrieval of prize money. Participants are responsible for any legal consequences related to copyright violations, and the organizer holds no responsibility.
iii. Submitted entries will not be returned. Please keep your original manuscripts, and once submitted, entries cannot be withdrawn.
iv. Entries must be submitted with the “Copyright License Agreement” (See Attachment). Submitting an entry is considered an acknowledgment and acceptance of all competition rules. Participants agree to unconditionally authorize the organizer to publicly use the work. The organizer has rights for photography, promotion, publication on the website, and exhibition, and the author may not object.
v. During the period of the copyright of the submitted works, the organizer has the right to utilize or sublicense the work in any way, at any location, and at any time, without the need for any payment.
vi. The organizer reserves the right to modify, change, or temporarily suspend the event. Any matters not covered in these rules may be modified and announced by the organizer at their discretion.
