Sleigh for the Grinch

Summary:

After reading How the Grinch Stole Christmas, students will work together to build a sleigh for the Grinch so he can take the presents and decorations from the Whos. Older students (Grades 3-5) will create a blueprint for their sleighs.

Standards:

[NC.K.CC.4] Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities.

[NC.2.MD.1] Measure the length of an object in standard units by selecting and using appropriate tools such as rulers, yardsticks, meter sticks, and measuring tapes.
