About Us

This website and associated materials were created by Duke University undergraduate students Ben Barronton, Anna Edgcomb, Anjali Jejurikar, and Mckenna Sachs in collaboration with the North Carolina Community Schools Coalition. The project was developed under the guidance of Alec Greenwald, Director of the Southeast Regional Coalition for University-Assisted Community Schools (SRCUACS), and Dr. Adrienne Stiff-Roberts, Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University. Many of the lessons featured on this site were adapted from K5 Engineers materials (https://www.k5engineers.org/resources) and activity examples developed by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) (https://www.asce.org/career-growth/pre-college-outreach/everyday-engineering).
