Fibonacci Flowers

Summary:

Students will learn about the Fibonacci Sequence. They will be tasked with designing a flower that can stand on its own, incorporating a number from the sequence (ex. number of petals or leaves).

Standards:

[NC.K.CC.4] Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities.

[NC.K.OA.1] Represent addition and subtraction, within 10.

[NC.2.OA.2] Demonstrate fluency with addition and subtraction, within 20, using mental strategies.
