Playground Designer

Summary:

Students will read Roxaboxen and explore how children use creativity to design places where everyone can play. They will become playground engineers tasked with designing a new playground that is safe, fun, accessible, and inclusive for all children.

Standards:

[K-ETS1-1] Ask questions, make observations, and gather information about a situation people want to change to define a simple problem.

[4.RL.1] Refer to details and examples in a text when explaining what the text says explicitly and when drawing inferences.
