About National Cadet Corps (NCC)

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is the premier youth organization of India working under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. Established with the objective of grooming future leaders of the nation, NCC plays a vital role in shaping the character, discipline, and patriotic spirit of students across schools and colleges.

NCC provides structured training that includes military drills, leadership exercises, adventure activities, social service, and national-level camps. Through a balanced combination of physical training and personality development, it transforms young cadets into confident, responsible, and service-oriented citizens.

Membership in NCC is voluntary but highly respected. Cadets receive opportunities to participate in programs such as Republic Day Camp (RDC), All India Trekking Camp (AITC), Annual Training Camps (ATC), and many other national and international exchange programs. These experiences help them gain exposure, build confidence, and prepare for leadership roles in society and the armed forces.
