Dr. Sankar Prasad Bag, SMIEEE, is an Assistant Professor at NTUST, Taiwan, and a researcher specializing in Neuromorphic Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, VLSI Systems, and Biosensor Technologies. He has over 12 years of combined teaching and research experience, including postdoctoral research positions at Dongguk University, South Korea, and Zhejiang University, China.
His research focuses on AI-integrated neuromorphic systems, bio-inspired computing, intelligent sensors, and next-generation human-machine interfaces. He has published numerous SCI-indexed journal articles, including papers in IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices, IEEE Sensors Journal, IEEE Electron Device Letters, and Sensors & Actuators B. He is also the recipient of the Best Researcher Award (2025) and holds a German patent.
Dr. Bag earned his Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering from Chang Gung University, Taiwan, an M.Tech. in Embedded Systems, and advanced degrees in Electronics and Microelectronics. He is a Senior Member of IEEE (SMIEEE), actively involved in international research collaborations, and has supervised postgraduate research in neuromorphic computing, AI, and advanced electronic systems.
