Among the many perks of being in college is the ability to use your student status for much-deserved savings! The NCAD Guide to Student Discounts and Freebies is curated specifically for NCAD students, highlighting the most relevant discounts on supplies, software, etc. 📎
Students are encouraged to form clubs and groups related to topics they are passionate about. When made official, clubs are given dedicated space, listed on the NCAD calendar, and are sponsored by a faculty or staff member. Forming an official club is a wonderful way to build community with other students. New student organizations should contact Student Services to get started.
The most current and complete information related to NCAD's disability services (including accommodation policy and process) can be found on NCAD's Disability Services Page.
NCAD takes its students seriously. If you have an idea, constructive criticism, or want to make an official complaint, we support you. One of the best ways to improve your experience as a student is to communicate often and clearly with fellow students, faculty, and staff. Without communication, progress/improvements/etc are very difficult!
Often, misunderstandings or mild disputes can be talked through productively and efficiently and end in resolution for all affected parties. NCAD has several staff who are happy to assist as mediators for these instances. If you are in need of advice and/or mediation, contact: Kelsey Alger, Student Services Coordinator (kalger@ncad.edu)/ Kurt Ikemeier, Director of Education (kikemeier@ncad.edu)/ or other admin staff.
For NCAD's complaint filing process, please see the most current information related to Complaint Procedures on NCAD's website.
