Regional lines were created to equally divide the 58 community colleges into 3 geographic locations.

The purpose of the NC Community College Association of Bioscience Instructors (NC3ABI) is to improve bioscience instruction at two-year schools and to foster fellowship and communication among NC community college bioscience faculty and staff.
