For generations, Newberry Opera House has been a gathering place for our community. When the historic theater was restored, it represented more than the preservation of a landmark. It reflected a shared belief in Newberry, its people, and what the arts could make possible for its future.
That spirit inspired a group of dedicated women to form the Newberry Opera House Guild in 2004, bringing together a passion for the Opera House with a desire to support and strengthen the community around it.
What began as a commitment to fundraising grew into something even more meaningful: friendship, connection, and a shared sense of purpose.
Through fundraising, volunteer efforts, and continued support of Newberry Opera House, Guild members help ensure that this historic stage remains a vibrant place for entertainment, creativity, and community connection.
If you enjoy giving back, meeting new people, working together, and helping Newberry continue to grow and thrive, we invite you to become part of the Newberry Opera House Guild.
The Guild meets monthly to connect, collaborate, and find meaningful ways to support Newberry Opera House and the role it plays in the cultural life of our community.
Join us on the first Tuesday of each month at 5:30 PM at Newberry Opera House.
Come build friendships, make an impact, and help carry the story of Newberry Opera House forward.
