About the School

Neh-broom School is situated lower part of Neya village under Neya –Mangzing GPU. From the very beginning it is a lower primary School run by School committee. According to the senior citizen this school land had donated by Late. Madhusudhan Luitel. Who was entitled as rich person in this village at that time. School established in 1954, teachers of this school got food items like rice, maize, millet, wheat as salaries and they have to exchange their necessary items at Makha Bazzar which was famous of its name “ BAULI BAZZAR”. According to the school record Shri. K.S Chawan was the first Headmaster of the Neh-Broom School till 1976, it is co-education school in which the medium of instruction is English. The School become Junior High School in the year 1983 and secondary School in the year 2004 respectively. The School is manage by the department of education/HRDD. It is located in rural area under Yangang Block. The School consist of grades from L.K.G to Class- X. The school have an attached Pre-Primary section. The school is approached by all weather roads. The school has Government building it has six class rooms building for instructional purpose. Two floor school building is donated by Lt. P.K Subba and Shri. M.K Subba in the memory of their parents. All the building class rooms are good condition with proper supply of electricity. It has two extra room for school office and staff room which were constructed under RMSA scheme.
