Will the Paloma Handlebar Bag fit my bicycle?

Possible roadblocks to using the Paloma Handlebar Bag could be

– Interference with cross-top aka inline brake levers (brake-levers mounted to the flats of your handlebars),
– Interference with cable-housing in area where the Paloma will be positioned,
– If the bag doesn’t fit between the drops of the handlebars,
– Or if integrated shifters hit the bag. The Paloma Handlebar Bag’s width is 10″, please check your clearance in advance of placing your purchase.

Yes. I removed the lid and wrapped one rubber coated twist tie in the gap on each hinge. Closes and opens perfectly and the rattle is completely gone. Routewerks said it was impossible that the hinges were the source of the noise lol

Most noticeable is a constant plastic rattling caused by a small gap between the Cordura-lined frame and the lid itself. The weight of a phone bounces the two materials together at every bump in the road and this seems like a design oversight. Fortunately, the solution is cheap and simple: cut some 3M-backed hobby felt to size and attach it to the metal latch platform. Once the gap is taken up the noise goes away! Note: no modifications are pictured in this article.
