In 2022, it transitioned into a formal club under the name National Blood Donation Universiti Malaya Club, further expanding its scale and impact. NBD now organizes blood donation drives both on Universiti Malaya's campus and in several states across Malaysia. These drives concluded in a final event, the Closing Ceremony. The club strives to address the issue of inadequate blood supplies at the National Blood Bank and hospitals throughout Malaysia, while also raising awareness about blood and organ donation among the public.
