Exploring, learning, and sharing knowledge of fungi in Northern British Columbia
Welcome to the Northern British Columbia Mycological Society (NBCMS).
Whether you are curious about mushrooms, interested in other fungi, or simply looking to connect with others who share your interest, we invite you to learn more about our Society and consider becoming a member.
The NBCMS is a volunteer-run not-for-profit organization based in Prince George, British Columbia, dedicated to fostering an appreciation and understanding of fungi. Founded in 2021, the Society welcomes anyone with an interest in fungi.
We strive to create a fun and welcoming environment where curiosity, learning, and respect for the natural world are encouraged.
As a community of enthusiasts and lifelong learners, we celebrate the diversity of fungi and encourage exploration and discovery.
The NBCMS provides opportunities throughout the year to learn about fungi, share knowledge, and connect with others who have an interest in mycology.
