Why I'm Running

"I am entering this race because I believe that the working people of Superior have had enough. We need to liberate Superians from the yoke of Governor Comped's rule. Poverty and economic insecurity continue to persist in our state, as our Governor dines with rich donors and fails to respond to the struggles in Superior's communities. We need a Governor who will work for us, Superior, and I believe that I am the right candidate to put the money and power in the hands of everyday Superians. I believe I have the policies, leadership, and history of representing this state to win this race and lead Superior forward as its Governor.

We can end poverty in Superior with a basic income. We can capitalize a public bank to reinvigorate our communities and economy. We can implement a Green New Deal to reorient Superior's economy in new and sustainable ways. We can create a universal child benefit which supports our youth and families. I don't just believe we can do big things, Superior, I know we can do big things in this state. I am unwilling to accept the failed policies of the Comped administration. I know the progress our state can make with the right policy solutions, and I know that as Governor I will enact the bold proposals needed to advance progressive change in this state.

Superior is a state besieged on all sides. We have failed leaders in both the Governor's mansion and the White House, and this Republican control has strangled our working class. However, there is a hope for change. If I win, I will serve as the people's Governor, and my administration will be laser-focused on providing the policies and change we all deserve. I will stand up to the far-right Adith Administration, and I will make Superior a beacon for progressive ideas and advocacy. We need a true progressive Governor, and I am confident that I can be that Governor and lead our state into a new era of progressive prosperity.

Finally, I am running for Governor because I have a history of public service representing and fighting for Superior. I have served as a US Senator from Superior for over a year combined, being elected twice in both January 2021 and 2022. This not only shows my electability as a candidate, but also my history of serving and representing Superior with committed determination. Even when far-right leaders such as former Governor House in Atlantic requested my resignation from the Senate, I refused to back down. Because I knew I was doing important work representing our state in the Senate, delivering the progressive representation in Congress our state deserves. I have a long history of service to Superior, and I will continue to serve our state and its people if elected as Governor.

We face many crises, Superior. But we can pull together to build a better state, and if we elect someone who truly represents us, we will overcome any challenges we face. I believe I am that someone, and I am certain that my bold progressive policies, capable leadership, and proud record in the Senate show that I am prepared to win this race and change Superior for the better. Let's take on the corrupt GOP in control of our state. Let's win, Superior, and make the change we deserve."
