BANA-3363: "Dr. Sedaghatkish was an incredible professor. She was very kind and extremely helpful. She answered questions to the best of her ability if students had any questions. Although the course material was extensive, she provided ample support and feedback. I truly enjoyed taking her class! "
BANA-3363: "Professor was excellent and was always ready to assist us in class with the subject material. She always provided different resources and ensured that we had enough practice problems to confidently face the challenging exams. Moreso, even though many in the class, including myself, struggled with the class on a conceptual level, she went above and beyond to show us how things worked and why it mattered. I appreciated everything she did for us and cannot overstate how much of a great professor she is. Highly recommend for others and I’m grateful for her time and guidance."

BANA 3363 (Online): "I have always been one who struggled in math and formulas. I have put off taking this class because I often leave these types of classes feeling worse than when I started. I have to say that I was shocked to actually comprehend what this professor was saying and retain it. Professor Sedaghatkish is absolutely incredible at breaking her teachings down into simple terms that stick with you. She highlights key points in each of her lectures and reviews. I have learned WAY more from her lectures and reviews than I thought possible. I should add that I am 42 years old, work full-time, and have 5 children. Learning environments have really changed over the years, so this has been a big learning curve. She has been so patient in her live reviews and did not criticize my wrong answers or questions....that means so much to me because it shows she really CARES. I highly recommend her to people like me who are struggling on keeping up with the times or those who have a fear of math. Yes, there are quite a few lectures and assignments, but I promise they are worth it if you put the time in. If you invest the time with her, you will no-doubt come out on top. It is impossible NOT to learn from her teachings. I truly wish there were more professors like her. Highly recommend! "
BANA 3363 (Online): "She is by far one of the best teachers I have had in my SHSU career. She not only cares, but she listens to the feedback. Her live sessions were so helpful. Stats are not my strength but this course has been smooth sailing thanks to professor Sedaghatkish."
BANA 3363 (Online): "This was my second time taking this course and I am so glad to have Dr. Sedaghatkish as my professor. She was very caring and her lectures really helped break down the concepts for me. I also greatly appreciated the recorded exam reviews. Since I work full time it was hard to attend the live sessions but she was able to accommodate our schedules. I am very thankful for her considerations and the opportunity to learn from her."
BANA 3363 (Online): "I loved Dr. Sedaghatkish, she genuinely cares about her students and really wants the best for everyone. She really tries her best to make sure everyone understands the material and explains the why behind each question. She has exam reviews on Wednesdays. This information was taken from a survey and I appreciated that it was based on said survey data. She also had plenty of extra credit assignments that I was very grateful for."

ECON-2006: "Incredibly professional and had an interest in having us learn without trying to "work against us" like many professors do either intentionally or unintentionally. I've taken two economics courses before this (micro) and I can tell you that I had a hard time grasping what was going on because the style of the class and the explanations were hard to follow. That doesn't mean those teachers were bad by any means, the material just wasn't as easily digestible as the material in this class was. This was the first time I actually had an understanding of economics beyond the bare basics and now that I understand it more, I find economics in general so fun! Great instructor, great class, would take another class with her."

The format of the class is very organized so it makes it easier to succeed.

ECON-3204: "My professor did a great job of presenting and explaining the material clearly. Because of the small class size and few participants on the Zoom calls, she made it very individualized, so we could participate and ask questions, and she catered class towards this, which was very helpful. She also provided a lot of extra study materials, such as the review session questions, which were very useful in completing the homework assignments and exams."

Replied fast to emails, and gave good recommendations and solutions for homework problems.

Her videos of the lectures were very informative and well put together.
Opened up quiz answers to see what I missed and needed to review for the next one
She provided a very detailed module system and utilized videos to help students understand the material.
Had very organized and thoughtful categorization of material
Emailed me if they saw I was struggling with the material and always offered to help.
The instructor held review sessions each Friday of the material that was reviewed during the week. These review sessions really helped with the class grasping the concepts and applying them to scenarios.
