I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI). I received my PhD in Economics from Ryerson University. Prior to joining UPEI, I taught at Ryerson University as Assistant Professor (LTF) and Instructor.
My current research focuses on the effect of windfalls such as natural resource rents, workers' remittances, and foreign aid on economic outcomes. Using an international trade theoretical model and panel data analyses, I study the distributional effects of various types of windfalls on the growth of the traded sector and the pattern of trade.
