My name is Nayah Thomas and I am from New Orleans, LA!
I am a sophomore Psychology Science major with a double minor in African American Diaspora Studies & Women's Studies.
My hobbies include reading, mentoring, getting involved on campus and of course sleeping when all my other obligations are done.
I am always looking to forge new connections with my peers and love to have conversations. You can catch me in the café on any given day chilling with my friends. Or in the admin building rushing to my classes.
If you ever see me on campus please say hello! I love having conversations about any and everything! Whether it be for a quick laugh or a mental break, I will always be there!
So that is a little about me. Hope you enjoyed!
Sincerely,
-Nayah Thomas

The past few years have been rough for the class of '24. From being forced to have a virtual or no graduation ceremony. And having to meet people via a screen and only being able to experience one semi-normal semester. We deserve a break! This past semester I was given the honor to get a behind the scenes take on what goes into making our class experience memorable as Co-event coordinator and I wish to amplify those experiences in the next coming year
One thing about me I love my H in front of my B and my B in front of my C! And I am determined to give others the opportunity to love it as well. That being said it is time for a change. Being named Junior is more than just a title and a crown. It is the ultimate form of service to my class community. I am aware of the time, dedication, and sacrifice it will take and I am more than up for the challenge!
I have several years of leadership experience outside of my academic career and plan to utilize those gift to organize a year full of fun activities, but also be a trusted friend and confidant. I will be a listening ear and advocate in all matters. I am willing to be uncomfortable so you all may live in comfort. I hope you allow me this opportunity to make a change in our XULA '24 community!
