The NAVSEA Enterprise is comprised of 10 warfare centers (WFC), and over 30 headquarter directorates, affiliated Program Executive Offices (PEOs) and numerous field activities that span across the country. NAVSEA will have various opportunities for many different occupations at 42 different organizations.
Mission: To design, build, deliver, and maintain ships, submarines and systems reliably, on-time and on-cost for the United States Navy.

Participation in the NAVSEA Skillbridge program does not guarantee post-internship employment.
While the program provides valuable on-the-job training, all hiring decisions are subject to current federal hiring policies, available positions and exemption eligibility under the DON civilian hiring freeze.
Participants are encouraged to apply with the understanding that permanent placement may be delayed or unavailable based on these external factors.
NAVSEA's partnership with the DOD Skillbridge program provides service members the opportunity to gain civilian work experience during their last 180 days of service through on-the-job training, internships, and apprenticeships to facilitate a smooth transition from military to civilian careers.

Job Description
This internship is an On-the-Job opportunity at Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme, California and it offers a Construction Project Management Intern the chance to gain hands-on experience assisting experienced project managers in all aspects of construction projects, from planning and design to execution and completion. The intern will be exposed to project scheduling, budget management, safety compliance, contractor coordination, and stakeholder communication within a dynamic and technically challenging environment. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented student in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field eager to contribute to the NSWC PHD mission.
This is a 12-week training program.

Job Description
This internship is an On-the-Job opportunity at Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock, in Maryland and it offers a developmental role where the participant will progressively build expertise as an Additive Manufacturing Technician. The role involves hands-on experience with metal hybrid additive/subtractive CNC mills, including CAD/CAM, and hybrid manufacturing processes. The participant will contribute to research and development of new components for the Navy and Marine Corps, train active-duty personnel, and provide direct support to deployed units on system operation and component creation.

Job Description
This internship is an On-the-Job opportunity at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) code A10 as a Physical Scientist (1301 series) and provides a unique opportunity for transitioning service members to gain hands-on experience as a junior computer scientist. The SkillBridge intern will support scientific modeling, test analysis, system safety, and data evaluation efforts across a variety of DoD platforms. Interns will work alongside senior scientists and engineers to assess system performance, model environmental effects, support electromagnetic compatibility testing, or participate in vulnerability and lethality analysis for weapons systems.
This opportunity is ideal for transitioning service members with degrees in physics, math, engineering, or related sciences.
Responsibilities include but limited to:
· Support modeling and simulation (M&S) of missile, combat, or electromagnetic systems
· Assist with data gathering, test planning, and scientific analysis
· Evaluate system effects from environmental factors (EMI, radiation, weather)
· Contribute to safety documentation, risk assessments, or vulnerability studies
· Participate in integrated product teams, technical working groups, and test events
· Prepare technical briefs, documentation, and visualizations of findings
