Minekaze-Class Destroyers (峯風型駆逐艦) were built for the Imperial Japanese Navy during the years of 1918 to 1922. Minekaze was the first Destoyer design of the IJN not to closely following British designs and methods. Built with powerful engines she was designed as a fast escort Destroyer.
Minekaze-Class Destroyers served between the years of 1919 to 1946.
