Harusame-Class Destroyers(春雨型駆逐艦) were built for the Imperial Japanese Navy during the years of 1902 to 1905. These were the first destroyers to be built in Japan, a total of 7 were built.

Harusame-Class Destroyers were completed in time to be used during the Russo-Japanese War of 1904-1905. One was lost after striking a mine during the conflict off of Port Arthur, Harusame First of her class, was lost in 1911 after running aground. In 1922 the remaining five were converted to mine sweepers for 1 year, then became transports until being removed from service in 1926.
