AFTERNOON TEA 🫖
Afternoon tea is quite an experience, and it is on many people’s bucket lists, but it tends to be quite pricey. Have a look first. These are some ideas:
Café Rouge (franchise): https://www.visitlondon.com/things-to-do/food-and-drink/restaurant/cheap-afternoon-tea#:~:text=3.-,Caf%C3%A9%20Rouge,-Indulge%20at%20an
Lilly’s Café:

Afternoon tea in Central London tends to be associated with well-known, traditional hotels (The Ritz, the Savoy or Claridge's offer afternoon teas as well):
But this is definitely my favourite hotel ever: http://www.herfavfood.com/blog/st-pancras-renaissance-afternonn-tea-review
Another very nice option is to have afternoon tea at a museum café. This is what I have done (albeit outside London). The Victoria and Albert café may offer afternoon tea: https://www.vam.ac.uk/info/va-cafe/ (I simply love the dining room and garden)
Petersham nurseries Covent Garden (plants and flowers abounding):

They also have a teahouse in Richmond, a lovely area: https://petershamnurseries.com/restaurants/the-teahouse/
If you want to have scenic views of London:
