Daklak province is on top of a mountain range with the highest peak Chu Yang Sin, at 2442 m. The weather is rather stable and the sky is less polluted than other provinces. It would be an ideal place to build an observatory for astronomers. To prepare for that, we already build a smaller observatory inside the campus of the Tay Nguyen university. This TNUO currently has a few facilities for research and education:
Consist of an optical telscope, a radio telescope, and a radio interferometer array.

The CDK400 Observatory System from PlaneWave Instruments is designed for the sophisticated astrophotographer and dedicated astronomy researcher. This premium package combines the high-performing CDK17 optical tube with the advanced L-500 direct-drive mount to provide a superior observational platform that excels in a range of applications, from detailed celestial research to high-end astrophotography.
This manual telescope is donated by Professor Yuichi Itoh and is great for students to learn how to operate telescope.
This is donated and in collaboration with Kyoto university.
