born 18 December 1948, educated at Daly College, Indore; succeeded to the gaddi on 15th November 1952; married Thakorani Laxmi Kanvar, daughter of Colonel Maharaj Rao Saheb Shardool Singhji of Achrol, and his wife, Rani Indra Kumari, and has had issue, an only daughter.
Kumari Hemangani Kumari, she died in 2014 of a lingering illness, aged 39 years.
PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY: The state was located in the Nani Marwar district of the former Mahi Kantha and had nineteen villages with an area of 10,000 bighas under tillage. The Thakore Sahebs of Sudasna, are Barad Rajputs of the Parmar tribe, ranking in the Fifth Class, and trace their descent from Amarsinhji, the son of Maharana Shri Punjasinhji Jetmalji, brother of Maharana Shri Mansinhji I Punjasinhji of Danta. In the latter half of the 17th century, the estate consisted of the single village of Sudasna. The Thakore Saheb's seat is at Sudasna the chief town in the state. He is a tributary chief and pays to the Gaekwad Maharaja the sum of Rs 1,000 p.a. as ghasdana and to the Maharaja of Idar Rs 361-4-2 p.a. as khichdi. The family holds no deed allowing adoption and in matters of succession it follows the rule of primogeniture. From 1911, the Chief had powers as follows Civil: - suits to the value of Rs5,000 and Criminal: two years rigorous imprisonment and Rs2,000 fine. This was raised in 1929 to Civil: suits to Rs10,000 and Criminal: three years rigorous imprisonment and Rs5,000 fine. The state was elevated from 5th to 4th Class in 1919 in recognition of the Thakore's administrative record and of his services to the Government during WWI. Rulers were....
Thakore Shri AMARSINHJI PUNJASINHJI, 1st Thakore Shri of Sudasna 15xx/-, second son of Maharana Shri Punjasinhji Jetmalji , Maharana Shri of Danta, he made frequent forays on his cousins estate of Ranpur and in revenge Maharana Mansinhji of Danta, hired a body of freebooters, who shortly afterwards meeting Amarsinhji near the village of Palkhari fell on him and put him to death; married and had issue. Thakore Shri Khomansinhji Hathioji (qv)
Rani (name unknown), Regent of Sudasna, she was granted the village of Uderan for her maintenance, after Jasvoji had usurped the gadi of Sudasna.
Thakore Shri KHOMANSINHJI HATHIOJI, 3rd Thakore Shri of Sudasna -/1687, aged 18 months when he succeeded, he was deposed by the usurper Jasvoji Mansinhji of Ranpur.
Thakore Shri JASVOJI MANSINHJI, 4th Thakore Shri of Sudasna in 1687 (for three and a half months), second son of Maharana Shri Mansinhji I Punjasinhji, Maharana of Danta, he was granted the estate of Ranpur and later succeeded to the estate of Sudasana, as well as acquiring Vasai and Jaspur-Chelanu; during his brief reign, the Marathas under Vithoba attacked Sudasna, plundered the village and retired; married and had issue.

Thakore Shri SARDARSINHJI JASVOJI, 5th Thakore Shri of Sudasna 1687/-, he was adopted by Gajsinhji of Danta as his successor but afterwards a son was born to him and the Thakore was compensated by a grant of Vasai, Davol, Dalisanu and other villages; married and had issue.

Thakore Shri AMARSINHJI II, 6th Thakore Shri of Sudasna, he greatly increased the estate in size and took the Khilar district between Sudasna and Taringa, he repulsed a Maratha army and also defeated the Maharana of Danta and was granted five villages and a quarter share of the transit dues paid by pilgrims to the shrine of Amba Bhavani; married and had issue.

Thakore Shri PRITHISINHJI TAKHATSINHJI C.I.E., 14th Thakore Shri of Sudasna 1900/1947, born 24th August 1884 (#2 p.362), he succeeded to the gadi on 9th March 1900 (#2 p.358), he was granted full ruling powers in 1905 (1906 #2 p.362), he was made a C.I.E. on 23rd June 1936 (ibid. p.362), married and had issue, one son. He died in 1947.

Thakore Shri RANJITSINHJI PRITHISINHJI, 15th Thakore Shri of Sudasna 1947/1952, born 11th August 1910 (#2 p.362), married Baisa Mimnoo Kanwar [Thakorani Mimnoo Kanwar of Sudasna], daughter of Maharaj Shri Ratan Singhji Sahib of Raoti, and had issue. He died in 1952.
