PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY: Rulers of Bhukarka are descendants of Maharaj Srirang Bika (Sring ji), son of Rao Jetsi of Bikaner. It is the ancestral seat of Sringot clan of Bika Rathores. The Chief is the premiere noble of Bikaner State and enjoys Double Tazim Sirayat and Kurab Hath in Bikaner Darbar. The estate was granted by Raja Rai Singhji of Bikaner. Maharaj Sri Rang ji, son of Rao Jetsi (4th Ruler of Bikaner), 1st Ruler of Bhukarka (Head Seat of Sringot clan), Sirayat, Double Tazim, Kurab Hath. He was a great warrior who on behest of his elder brother Rao Kalyanmal of Bikaner, led Bikaner State Army to assist and save Merta from onslaught of Sher Shah Suri, married and had issue.

Thakur Prithviraj Singhji, 6th Thakur of Bhukarka, in 1698 A.D. on demise of Maharaja Anup Singhji of Bikaner his heir who was a minor ascended the throne of Bikaner, in minority the State of Bikaner was under the leadership of Thakur Prithviraj Singhji. In 1707 AD, Maharaja Ajit Singh of Jodhpur had taken advantage of the absence of Maharaja Sujan Singhji of Bikaner and attacked Bikaner, he was countered and repulsed by the Rajput Sardars of Bikaner under the dynamic leadership of Thakur Prithviraj Singhji, he was duly recognised for his bravery by the Ruler of Bikaner, married and had issue.

Thakur Kushal Singhji, 7th Thakur of Bhukarka; he was actively involved with Bikaner Darbar and provided his services in negotiations between Rulers of Bikaner and Jodhpur, he is renowned for coordinating defensive battle at Bikaner, against rebel armies of Bhadra and Churu. In 1746 A.D., ruler of Bikaner died without an heir, to avoid any confrontation and usurping of throne, Thakur Kushal Singhji intervened and took control of the affairs of the state and with advice of other Thikanedars invited the nearest relative of the ruler, Maharaj Gaj Singhji son of Maharaj Anand Singhji (youngest son of Maharaja Swaroop Singhji of Bikaner) who was most suitable, later on in a battle against Maharaj Amar Singh he was at the helm of Bikaner forces, married and had issue.
