Raja TOKH PAL, founder of Bhadu state, he was originally assigned the jagir of Hatetar, but rebelled against his brother and was defeated, with the aid of troops provided by the Nawab of Lahore, he captured Basohli. Raja KALYAN PAL 1834/1836, born 17th December 1834, in 1836 a sanad conveyed the state as a jagir to Raja HIRA SINGH of Jammu, in March 1846, the estate was transferred to Maharaja GHULAB SINGH, with a pension of 3,000Rs being assigned to the Raja, he married 1stly, 1850, a Princess of Sirmur, died before 1857, married 2ndly, a daughter of Raja CHHATAR Singh of Mankot, she continued to live in Basohli Palace on a pension of 1,500Rs from Jammu, for many years. He died sp 1857.
