The National Maker Collective is thrilled to invite you to our very first in-person conference, in collaboration with OhioNet, happening July 25, 2026 in Dayton, Ohio, and this one's for YOU.
Whether you're running a makerspace in a community center basement or a university innovation lab, dreaming about launching your first space, volunteering on weekends, or simply curious about what makes the maker movement tick, you belong here. This conference is built by makerspace people, for makerspace people. All backgrounds, all experience levels, all are welcome.
The conference theme is Together We Make: Celebrating what unites us. We know that a tiny community workshop and a sprawling academic makerspace might look nothing alike, but they share the same DNA-creativity, collaboration, and a commitment to hands-on learning. This conference is where we celebrate what unites us.
We're coming together to swap stories of triumph and troubleshooting, to learn from each other's wins and challenges, and to build the collective knowledge that will grow makerspaces into a sustainable network for years to come. Because when we share what we know, we all grow stronger.
Let's make something amazing together.
