National Chemistry

National 5 Key areas

Notices - All classes. Please find work in the E-Learning tab. This work is designed to give you a solid foundational / deeper understanding of Chemistry at National 5 level and an introduction to those who have completed National 4. There are 10 weeks until the new Higher / National 5 courses would normally begin. The home learning resources are essential to getting yourself really ready for the next stage.

Teachers will track your progress on Scholar (time spent on tasks and how well you've answered questions). This provides us with useful data in helping ensure the next stage is appropriate for you.

Two of the best ways to consolidate learning is by challenging yourself to answer exam level questions and using flash cards.

· Complete the scheduled homework on the past paper page using your prelim review sheet to select key areas.

· Mark it yourself using the corresponding marking instructions.

· Highlight your record sheet to show how well you did (green, orange, red).

· Seek help from your teacher on questions you could not answer.

The key areas listed cover all the outcomes of the National 5 course.
