Fields Teamwork and Determination at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex are Turf Fields. Please make sure that you are abiding by the following rules regarding metal cleats usage.

● Field Teamwork
o The Entire Field, Including the Pitching Mound and Home Plate Is

Turf.

o No Metal Cleats to Be Worn at Any Time.
o May Wear Turf Shoes or Molded Cleats Only.
o It is Highly Recommended That Pitchers Wear Molded Cleats on the

Turf Mound.

● Field Determination
o Pitching Mound and Home Plate are Clay.
o No Metal Cleats to Be Worn with The Following Exception:

▪ Pitchers and Catchers May Wear Metal Cleats When on Defense but Must Wear Turfs or Molded Cleats When Hitting.

● Building 42

• ○  All practice areas (Infield and Batting Cages) are Turf

• ○  No Metal Cleats to Be Worn Inside of Building 42 at Any Time.

• ○  May Wear Turf Shoes or Molded Cleats Only.
