I performed my undergraduate studies at the Universiteit Antwerpen, where in 2016 I received my Master's degree in theoretical physics magna cum laude. I obtained my PhD at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2020, under the supervision of Prof. Tom Lenaerts and Prof. Sophie de Buyl. In my thesis I investigated the population and genetic dynamics of haematopoietic stem cells, and formulated a modeling approach to characterize the joint interaction of cell proliferation and motility.
I currently work as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in the lab of Dr. Benjamin Werner, in the Centre for Genomics and Computational Biology, at the Barts Cancer Institute at Queen Mary University of London.
In my free time in enjoy writing and recording music.
