Teaching

I am passionate about helping students understand conceptual material and sharpen their critical thinking skills. I have taught or ta'd a variety of undergraduate math courses at Vanderbilt. I have also graded for graduate real analysis. I received the Bryant Prize for Excellence in Teaching (vandy math dept graduate teaching award) in Spring '23. Reviews available upon request. 

In Fall '22, as the lead instructor of a Calc II course, I participated in a study about racial and gendered inequality in introductory math education. My participation entailed several interviews and a number of class observations. Here is a paper from earlier work in their study:
