Nathan (he/him/his) is a graduate of the Honors College at George Mason University. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a double concentration in Journalism and Media Production. He is currently working on his Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Alabama.
In April 2021, he joined WAVY-TV 10 as a Digital Content Producer.
A year later, Nathan joined the award-winning morning team as a producer. In that role, he plans and coordinates content for the four-and-a-half-hour show. As part of the team, Nathan has developed new creative ways of storytelling, including new camera shots and shifts in the show format. His work helped the show's ratings grow double digits year-over-year.
As a young child, Nathan 'launched' his first show, Lunchtime with Nate, from his dining room table. Since then, he has continued to be fascinated by journalism. He has had the opportunity to explore many facets of the industry, including content development, studio-based television production, as well as field production. From a high school journalism conference to professional development seminars at national cable and news outlets, plus professional newsroom experience, Nathan has consistently chased his dream of producing high-quality and dynamic journalism.
Nathan was previously a Social Media Specialist at Stride Learning, as well as a Newsource Intern at CNN in Washington, DC.
