During my time in graduate school with the Information Technology courseload, I took several different classes that introduced me to new information and concepts in the IT field while also taking other courses that allowed me to explore the industry. Along with taking lessons, I was able to land a job in the library, where I was able to gain experience within the field as well as apply my newfound knowledge. I also participated in big conferences like SXSW (South X Southwest) and TMCF (Thurgood Marshall College Fund Leadership Institue).

During my undergrad, I matriculated from a teenager into a young adult through all the experiences I endured. My coursework involved much hands-on work with automobiles as we learned about all the intricate parts of making an automobile. Due to my studies, I accomplished many things I wanted to do, including joining the engineering team for a GMC auto challenge, gaining my Six Sigma certification, and pledging Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternety Inc.
