The NATECLA research exhibition turns 5 this year!
NATECLA would like to invite all ESOL and Community Language related projects to produce a poster of their research which will be exhibited at their Annual Conference on 26th-27th June.
The posters will be on display in the exhibition hall where exhibitors from awarding organisations, publishers and charities will be stationed, so the posters will have a wide audience. In addition, we will share your posters on the Members' Platform for continued interaction after the event.
If you would like to submit a poster, please complete this form before Monday 23rd March 2026 and send your finished poster before Monday 11th May.

For inspiration, take a tour of the 2023 and the 2022 exhibition space which was populated by those taking part in the OTLA programme as well as those who had recently completed their ATS (Advanced Teacher Status). If you’re wondering whether this is for you or not: it can be any type of research, part of a programme of study (e.g. OTLA or a PhD) or informal action research you have undertaken in your classroom/ organisation.

I love the NATECLA annual conference but have not always been able to attend in-person (or be sure if I could) in order to submit a proposal to lead a workshop or learn from the other talks. Creating a poster was a way for me to feel connected to the event when I couldn't physically be there, or to share my work when presenting was not on the cards, which I have done twice now.

Posters will be printed to A1, will need size 24 font, landscape and saved as PDF. Ensure the name of your project and organisation are clear. You do not need to attend the NATECLA conference in person in order to exhibit. However, If you would like to attend, we can offer a 25% discount off the ticket price to all poster exhibitors (to receive a discount you must sign up to a 5min spot talking through your poster on Saturday).
If you would like to share links with your audience, please consider the format of the poster - use QR codes rather than long written URLs. These codes should also be hyperlinked so that when we share digital copies in our members area, viewers will be able to access the link.
As a thank you, you will receive your own printed copy of the poster and 25% off the price of a Saturday only ticket. Please indicate on the form if you plan to attend the Conference on Saturday
