• Solo/Duet/Dual Narration Raw Audio (Asynchronous): $250 + PFH for Raw Audio

PFH = Per Finished Hour: The audiobook industry works in units of per finished hour. This means you pay per hour of completed audio produced; you do not pay the narrator per hour they work. So, if it takes them 20 hours to record an 8-hour book, they get paid for the 8 hours of audio.

† Please note: Rates are negotiable and vary depending on type, complexity, and length of the project.

* Package and post-production costs vary due to the availability of engineers and the variation in engineering rates as well as production company/team rates and fees. 

• Solo Narration Package† : $300-$350* PFH 

• PLEASE NOTE: (I am NOT currently taking Solo Packages submissions ("fully produced by me" audiobooks). I AM, however, taking Solo Narration Projects but please contact me for recommendations on production companies and teams that I work with for production and post production of your audiobook.)

† If you select a Narration Package, I, as your narrator/producer for this project, will not only record my sections of your project but also manage all post-production services. This includes audio proofing, editing, professional mastering, full error and limited performance corrections, and promotional audio content (optional). This results in “ready to upload” files.

• I am Currently CLOSED for Submissions on Projects through Royalty Share and Royalty Share +

These rates are normally included in Royalty Share (RS) with production sites like ACX.

• RS Solo Narration: Royalty %

• RS+ PLUS Solo Narration Package† (under 75,000 words): $150-200 PFH + Royalty %

• RS+ PLUS Solo Narration Package† (75,000+ words): $175-225 PFH + Royalty %

** Example of the Duet/Dual Narrator Package: Let's say my finished recorded time for your book is 8 hours. The total project length is 12 hours (this includes both narrators’ sections and is the length of your completed audiobook). Your invoice from me would look something like this: 

• Raw recorded audio fee: 8 hours x $200 PFH = $1,600

• Project post-production fee: 12 hours x $125* PFH = $1,500

• Total invoice amount = $3,100

  • You would pay my co-narrator their raw audio “PFH” fee, and they would send me the files. They would invoice you separately.

This is not a comprehensive list and the narrator reserves the right to deny tropes/themes in the future. This list is also not meant to shame or pass judgment on authors/readers of listed tropes. It is listed solely as a boundaries list for services rendered by this narrator.

1. Child Harm (overtly stated or included in the narrated piece.) If it is a mention of it in the character's past and it pushes the plot then it can be up for discussion. (For example: If the character mentions that they were abused as a child and it pushes the plot forward or is the trauma they are working on but doesn't explicitly narrate the trauma or give graphic details, it is negotiable.)

2. Sexual Scenes that include minors or flashbacks to a time when they are minors that include sexual content.

3. Dad/Stepdad/Family (to include brother-sister/ foster brother-sister, etc) or extended family member romantic relationships (to include grooming or sexual content) where the adult knows the younger as a minor. 

4. Bigotry (promoting/endorsing racism, anti-LGBTQIA, or any content that is harmful to marginalized groups)
