Hi, my name is Natalia Jackson and welcome to my Journalist of the Year portfolio.  I am a senior at Cranston High School West and I serve as the Director and Editor of my school's weekly news production, West Watch, and as a Director and Producer for our schools Broadcast media Falcons Fly,  where I specialize in on-camera broadcast journalism.  I have been a part of my school's media club since sophmore year and additionally have taken Broadcast Journalism classes. While being a member in my school's media club I have produced, directed, and been an on camera reporter for current school events, news, alumni stories, politics, sports and more! Storytelling through broadcast and live reporting has become a defining part of my high school experience and I take pride in leading a team that brings our school community's stories to life. I plan to take this pride and passion with me as I intend on pursuing a major in Broadcast Journalism in college.
